Here’s the secret to making shamrock shaped cupcakes for your St Patrick’s Day party the easy way – no special pan required.
They are great for sending to your child’s class for a St Patrick’s Day goodie. They look wonderful and are easy to make. You can use any cupcake batter flavor.
Marbles are the Secret Ingredient!
Place cupcake liners in your pan. Fill with cake batter 1/2 full. Do not overfill!
To create indentations in the cupcakes that will form the shape, you will be placing marbles between the pan and the lining paper. Place two close together to form the stem. Place two more spread out about 1/3 the distance between the rest of the circle (see picture).
Bake as usual.
Let marbles cool completely before removing from pan.
